A Look Back to Memory 1999
Thank you ACNV Community Foundation for funding my Conflict Zone project. I am back from Houston where I collaborated with a group of Yazidi women, kids and men who relocated from Iraq. In early March we came together at the University of Houston printmaking facilities where I asked the groups to create monotypes about their daily lives. I will be showing their work on Saturday and Sunday Aprill 21 and 22nd from 11 to 4 in my Napa studio. 1830 Soscol #D. I will also be giving a lecture "From Empathy to Art Action" on the project on Monday April 23rd at 7 pm.
